Last Tuesday, we visited Cardiff. The train for Cardiff costs £17 for an open return, we chose to leave early to have the time to visit all we wanted to in this city, which is the capital of Wales. We took a train at 7.30 a.m. and we left to Wrexham at 6.20 p.m.
During this day, we visited in first the Cardiff Castle. The cost to visit this castle is £9.50 for a student and £11 for an adult. This castle had a rich history, the first signs of a construction are 2,000 years old.
The Cardiff Castle
As you can see, this castle is divided in 2 parts; on the first picture, you can see the old part of the castle and in the second picture it is the younger part.
We eat at a little Italian restaurant in the shopping malls of the city. Then we visited Millennium Stadium. Tours are held daily every hour, but if you want to be sure to have the place, I advise you to book. In fact many hours are taken by school class. The cost for this visit is £5 per student and £7 per adult.
During the visit, we saw in first a short video about Millennium Stadium’s History. After that, the guide spoke about Sir Tasker Watkins. He was an important person in the professional Wales’ rugby.
Sir Tasker Watkins
After that speech, the guide took us in a hall where there are some T-shirts which were used in the last Six Nations championship.
T-shirts
We visited the Wales rugby team cloakroom. The guide explained us that room was cursed. After the Millennium Stadium construction, all teams changing in this room had lost. An exorcist was called. He told some invocations in the Chinese, used some salt but it didn’t work. A second exorcist was called, he painted on the wall, after that all teams has win.
Painting
We visited the press room. The guide took us in front of the stadium’s lawn, she explained us how the lawn was redid.
The press room
She guided us in the presidential room. For let to a room, it’s £90,000 at least and £900,000 for the most expensive.

The guide explained us where are the rooms for the policemen, firemen, cameramen, etc.
After that we walked through the city, we saw some typical arcades of this city.

We went to Cardiff bay to see the dock.

I like this visit and I recommended it.
Have a good day in Cardiff.
