The 6 nation’s championship is a rugby competition which was created in 1971. Teams from 6 different countries (England, Italy, France, Scotland, Ireland and Wales) are confronting during rugby matches.
During the 2013 championship the French team was considered as the favorite. However, French players won only one match against Scotland and lost the championship. This year the winners were the team of Wales, which played a great final against England on March 17. They won 30-3. We went to see this game in a Welsh pub: the Golden Lion which is located in the city center of Wrexham.
We have seen a festive, joyous and vibrant vibe. As you will see and hear in the following video.
It was nice to see this match with Welsh people, as there was a great atmosphere and the game was very successful. Actions were really impressive. It was better not to be English in the pub that night.
The French team seems less welded because of players with different ages and experiences. The cohesion of the team was invisible unlike the Welsh team who has won the championship.
This was a very good game and this allowed us to have a good time together, with of course, the local drink (a beer).
